linen tunic

I've been down with flu for a week or so.  Yikes.

Here you can see my just-finished project with linen lily yarn.   I have to add an i-cord around my hip line.  I'll report my whole project later on.

my new project bag

I'm now working on a new project using linen lily by Hasegawa and cotton gima by Avril.  Before starting this project, I made a pretty project bag with my original embroidery pattern using Japanese huck embroidery cloth.  It cheers me up whenever I open my bag to see it stays there.

I bought the patten from Raverly.  The designer is Julia Duren.  I fell in love with the simple zen-like design of it when I first saw it.  It's quite easy and simple, yet beautiful with detailed points.  I cannot wait to finish it and show it off to you girls!

9mm

Just got my new knitting needle, 9mm!  It's so big, wow!!


I'll start knitting a pullover with linen lily from Hasegawa and cotton gima from Avril.  This new project should be over very soon since I'm using such a big gear!
